How did The Family Works start?

The Family Works started in September 2020 as a replication of the 4Family Yeovil family support programme. It developed out of family work that St John’s Owlerton was supporting within the church community. St John’s has always engaged with local community but in recent times has seen an increase in the need for additional family support. 

What is the status of The Family Works as an organisation?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Where do referrals come from?

The Family Works, works in partnership with the local authority, GP’s, health workers, Housing, community agencies and schools.
